Why should I hire a professional makeup artist for my wedding?

Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life. People might not remember what your wedding invitation looked like ten years from now, but they will remember that you looked gorgeous!

Emotions run high on the day of the wedding and hiring a professional makeup artist can help remove some of that stress. Getting the perfect look for your wedding on your own or asking help from a friend or family member puts stress on all of you. You wouldn't ask your friends and family to design your wedding dress and you don't want to sew it yourself; you turn to professionals for those very important functions. Well, how you look on at your wedding is as important as how your gown looks, and a professional makeup artist can assure that is the case.

Most importantly, all makeup is NOT created equal. A professional artist will use the proper makeup to insure that your face doesn’t photograph like a mask, or that your eye makeup doesn’t look greasy in your photos. You have invested a lot of time, money, and energy in your wedding and you deserve to sit back, relax, and have skilled expert pamper you!

Should I do a trial run?

Absolutely! Trial runs are the perfect time to meet your artist, discuss the type of makeup you wish to try, experiment with colors, and try on false eyelashes.

Can Team Beauti travel to my destination or out of town wedding location to provide services?

Yes, Team Beauti can! In addition to our normal fee, a charge based on travel expenses and accommodations for the event will be applied to the invoice.

Will you come out to my location if it’s just me getting makeup?

Yes. We do not have any requiremens for a minimum number of people in order to service you.

Will I need someone to stay at the wedding for touch-ups?

If you choose your makeup application to be traditional foundation, then yes, we suggest having someone stay for touch-ups, or if you prefer you can purchase a touch-up kit.

If you plan on using the airbrush technique, touch-ups typically aren’t necessary. All you will need in that case is your lip gloss.

What type of cosmetics do you use?

Team Beauti does not represent any one particular makeup company. We use the best of the best from numerous lines such as MAC, BeautiControl, Revlon, Urban Decay, Nars and many more.

Do you cover tattoos?

Yes we do. Depending upon the size or complexity of the tattoo, an additional charge might be required.

Do you offer makeup lessons?

Yes we offer makeup lessons for any number of people, whether to ready you for your wedding, or simply to help you learn the basics of propoer makeup application. In a private setting one on one, or if you and a group of friends would like to learn some tricks of the trade, Team Beauti can teach you what you need to know.

What form of payment to do you accept?

Team Beauti accepts all forms of payment; cash, check, and all major credit cards except for American Express.
